UNIFIED CARRIER REGISTRATION AGREEMENT
The UCR Agreement is a base-state system administered by federal and state governments and by the motor carrier industry for the collection of fees levied on motor carriers and related entities.
ALL:
A) INTERSTATE MOTOR CARRIERS OF PROPERTY AND PASSENGERS;
B) MOTOR PRIVATE CARRIERS OF PROPERTY;
C) FREIGHT FORWARDERS;
D) BROKERS; and
E) LEASING COMPANIES
- Each business is required to file an annual application; and pay an annual fee based on the size of the fleet.
- Proper payment of the UCR fees will be verified at the time you apply for your apportioned license plates.
To avoid delays, it is highly recommended that you register in the national UCR on-line system hosted by the Indiana Department of Revenue. Go to www.ucr.in.gov and follow the step by step instructions. Payments may be made on-line using MasterCard, Visa or e-Check.
