Thibodaux, LA - The Barataria-Terrebonne National Estuary Program's La Fete d'Ecologie 2007 is scheduled for Saturday, September 29, 2007, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, on the grounds of the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve Wetlands Acadian Cultural Center in Thibodaux, Louisiana. La Fete d'Ecologie is a fun-filled and educational event for the whole family and celebrates the ecology, people, culture, and history of the Barataria-Terrebonne estuary.
LOSCO’s exhibit will feature visual displays, literature, and an interactive educational activity, which will have children clean up a mock oil spill.
