Please notify T.E.S.S., as a courtesy, prior to flaring any L. P. Gas tanks. Their toll free number is 1-877-925-6595. This is a courtesy to State Police for any incoming calls they may receive and good public relations with the public.
TO ALL DEALERS “CONDEMNED INSTALLATIONS” - IMPORTANT NOTICE!!!
Any L. P. Gas or Anhydrous Ammonia installation or system found “NOT” in compliance with the
Revised Statutes or the Commission’s Rules and Regulations will be “CONDEMNED” for further use
until compliance is achieved. This will be accomplished by posting a “CONDEMNED
INSTALLATION” decal on the installation or system or by publishing it in the monthly AD letter.

The L. P. Gas Commission requires proof of insurance in the office on or before the expiration date on the certificate of insurance. If the certificate of insurance is not received on or before the expiration date a citation will be issued. Permit holders must “Cease and Desist” L.P. Gas operations immediately.
**INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS HAVE GONE UP TO $1,000,000. THE 1,000,000 REQUIREMENT SHALL BE EFFECTIVE ON THE FIRST PROOF OF INSURANCE REQUIRED AFTER DECEMBER 1, 2003.**
IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR ALL NEW APPLICATIONS FOR PERMITS:
NEW APPLICANTS MUST HAVE THE COMPLETE AND CORRECT NAME OF THE BUSINESS ON THE APPLICATION AND THE EXACT SAME NAME ON THE CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE. INCORRECT APPLICATIONS CAN NOT BE PROCESSED AND WILL BE RETURNED!

The Liquefied Petroleum Gas Commission continued its regular meeting Thursday, October 28, 2004 at 7919 Independence Blvd., 1st Floor – Conference Room B, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The meeting was called to order by the Chairman, Mr. James Hopson, with the following members present:

FIRE: Herring Gas Co., Jena, reported a fire destroyed the residence of Roy Lee White, Trout, LA. The cause of fire was electrical. No loss of product or injuries reported.
FIRE: Ferrellgas LP, Lake Charles, reported a fire damaged the residence of George Fontenot, Lake Charles, LA. The cause of fire was electrical. No loss of product or injuries reported.
FIRE: O’Neal Gas Inc., reported a fire damaged the residence of Paul Crain, West Monroe, LA. The cause of fire was electrical. No loss of product or injuries reported.
FIRE: Amerigas reported a fire destroyed Reagan Textile, Inc., Lafayette, LA. The cause of fire is presently unknown. No loss of product or injuries reported.
ACCIDENT: Spetco, Lecompte, reported an at-fault accident in which the driver rear-ended a 2005 Toyota Camry, when attempting to avoid a dog in the road. No loss of product or injuries reported.
